Website Updates Planned December 2018
Description
Quick update for the website on what has been completed and the new list of items I hope to implement this year. Progress has been a little slow as I have been doing more research and tweaks lately.

A while back I was collecting some images for the site, more specifically Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) and it came to me that Wikipedia is doing something rather interesting many of their images. It appears that they are dynamically creating landing pages that contains information related to the image, such as, creator, license information, format and other related data. What if this was applied in a broader way?
Implemented some fixes to the related articles system and must have missed a couple of test cases. Also found some breadcrumb issues in the amp articles.
Finally got back around to working on the site after two months off. The gap in updates was partly due to a major crunch deadline at work where a 'simple' reskinning of a website turned in to much more than that. Additionally, I paused development to see how well Google would index the site. Well... it's all good.
When I first started this site, I didn't put a lot of thought into the name of the domain that I selected. Using my own name seemed like a pretty cool idea. Since that time, I the idea in the back of my mind that I would address it again at a later time. That time has come.
Another late night, or is it early? Either way, I think I am mere moments away from pushing 'the button'. The new version of the site is ready to be consumed, hopefully, by the internet.
After adding or editing an article in the content management system, the list of articles wasn't updating to show the new records or modified entries.
The start has been a little slow. Getting back on the saddle of development is still exciting but there is a little catching up to do. This is a collection of my thoughts after looking at where to go next with the websites direction and my experiments.
Registered a new domain that points to this site. the-seo-guy.com was available so I purchased it through 1and1.com. I was actually surprised it was available and couldn't help but snag it for $9.99 a year.
It's been a long time in the works. After having taken one step back, I was able to finally catch up to where I was.
