1&1 website hosting offers two flavors of CDN. The vanilla version is $4.99 a month with a 30 day free trial. The "PLUS" version is $9.99 a month and also includes a 30 day free trial. Offering a few extra features including more frequent statistical data, SPDY support, dynamic image compression and SSL support.
With SSL being a hard yes, as it is the new standard for all sites, I opted for the Plus version. GTmetrix website performance testing tool will provide before CDN activation data, as well as some Chrome DevTool audits. Now I just need to wait for the DNS to populate before I can get some comparison data.
