Google Address Bar Search Functionality

Description

The feeling of stumbling upon a cool feature is awesome. Today I was typing in an address for a website when I got caught up in a conversation. When I returned to my keyboard, I must have hit the space bar before typing in the reset of the URL. What I saw in the address bar was a site specific search. I must research this feature.

I found at least one link talking about the Chrome address bar auto site search. It looks like it has been around for a year or so and there might even be a way to get Google to automatically add this feature for a given website. I must research this in the future, but as of right now, it is a little off the beaten track of most users to take any priority level.

As a side note, I tested this feature on an iPhone running mobile Chrome and was disappointed to find out it isn't supported (yet?). Might try android later.
